World Saw fish day @ Naragebup
Oct 17 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am
Join us in Rockingham to celebrate World Sawfish Day with a fun, family friendly event!
Did you know that Sawfish have been around since the time of the dinosaurs, and can grow to a whopping seven metres in length? See for yourself next week when we unveil a giant sawfish at Naragebup Rockingham Regional Environmental Centre.
We’ll be celebrating the critically endangered freshwater sawfish
found in the Kimberley’s Fitzroy River. Along with the seven-metre sawfish art installation, there will be a sawfish colouring in competition, showbags and a sawfish cake. Join us to learn more about this amazing creature and what can be done to protect it. ????
