Naragebup is the sum total of it’s volunteers. Nothing happens and jobs don’t get done, without someone offering their time, knowledge and enthusiasm.

We are always looking for willing volunteers to help run the place, so here is our updated vacancy list. We currently need people to fill the following positions:
- Treasurer to keep the books balanced;
- Deputy Volunteer Coordinator to keep in touch with our volunteers;
- Deputy Membership Coordinator to keep up with the broader membership;
- Receptionists to greet visitors at the front desk;
- Corporate Sponsorship Officer to apply for grants;
- Social Media Team Members to get the message out there via social media that there is a lot going on at Naragebup and we are a great place to visit and volunteer;
- PR / Communications Team Members create publicity material e.g. flyers and displays. Other duties could include staffing exhibition stalls or working with associated groups.
- Communications Liaison to monitor emails/information from various sources;
- Skilled maintenance workers to help maintain our site and buildings;
- Skilled website / IT support to keep the computers working;
- General duties team members to do everything else!
Having volunteered myself for the past couple of years I can testify that:
- workmates are a friendly and helpful bunch,
- the “office building” is beautiful,
- it is a much less stressful environment than a paid job, and
- your work makes a difference to the many visitors, kids and adults, that visit and enjoy the centre each month.
If you want to extend yourself, find your tribe and help out in any aspect of these areas – even for a couple of hours each week – please contact our volunteer coordinator, Pauline, via the email NaragebupvolunteerCo@naragebup.org.au.
